Living the Fourth Day

The Cursillo Weekend is only the beginning.

The Fourth Day is where faith is lived—day after day, in real life.

Group Reunions and Ultreya gatherings provide the structure, support, and Christian friendship needed to continue growing in faith long after the weekend ends.

Group Reunions & Ultreya

Ultreya, meaning “Onward,” brings the broader Cursillo community together.

Ultreya gatherings include:

  • Prayer

  • Witness talks

  • Fellowship

  • Encouragement

These gatherings remind us that we are part of something larger than ourselves—a living community of faith. Ultreyas renew enthusiasm, strengthen commitment, and affirm that God continues to work through ordinary people striving to live the Gospel.

Ultreya Gatherings

Group Reunions are small gatherings of friends who meet regularly to support one another in living a vibrant Christian life.

These groups focus on:

  • Prayer – growing closer to God together

  • Spiritual growth – reflecting on how faith is lived day to day

  • Christian action – bringing Christ into family, work, and community

Group Reunions offer accountability, encouragement, and honest friendship. They help Cursillistas remain grounded and intentional in their walk with Christ—celebrating successes, learning from challenges, and moving forward together.

Why the Fourth Day Matters

Faith grows when it is shared.

The Fourth Day gives Cursillistas a rhythm of prayer, reflection, and community that turns a weekend experience into a lifelong way of living Christianity. It transforms faith from a moment into a mission—lived daily, supported by others, and centered on Christ.

"My Week Doesn't Work Without It"

"At first, I thought Group Reunion was just another meeting to attend. Now it's the anchor of my week. Having people who actually know what's going on in my spiritual life, who ask the hard questions and celebrate the wins has been life-changing. We're honest about our struggles, we pray for each other, and we keep each other focused on Christ. It's only an hour, but it keeps me grounded all week long. I wouldn't miss it for anything."
